Join us at Salem Vineyard Church in Salem, OR for an evening of worship led by John Barnett, who's roots go deep in the Vineyard movement as a songwriter, worship leader, teacher and mentor. For over two decades, John has remained out of the limelight while quietly penning songs such as "Holy And Anointed One", "Father Of Lights", "Throne Of Grace" and others that have become standards in the churches around the world. Over the years, John has developed a musical style that is simple and unique, keeping an unrefined edge to his songs while maintaining a close eye on theological content. This sound he calls "Congregational Americana", blending folk, rock, country, bluegrass and pop together with worshipful lyrics and singable melodies to create a timeless expression of worship. John has a brand new record, "Never Look Back". This event is FREE of charge, but a offering will be taken.

It’s our desire for you to experience God's love and His Presence in a fresh and uplifting way. Here at the Vineyard, God is drawing people together who want to learn how to have a relationship with God in a relevant, practical and personal way. We also understand that as we receive the limitless love of God for ourselves it makes us want to give His love away to others. That's why Salem Vineyard exists - to be loved by God, to love Him in turn, and to give His love away.

We believe it's important to know something about the people, priorities and practices a church has before making the decision to join it. We hope this site lets you know who we are, where we are going and where you can go to get more firsthand experience if you so desire. It won't answer all the questions you have but it will give you an idea of what God is doing here.
